What SR1 A1 means
LPS 1175 is the Loss Prevention Certification Board standard for testing physical resistance to forced entry. SR1 (A1) means the product has been independently tested to withstand a sustained attack using easily concealed hand tools. It is the standard specified when ordinary palisade is not enough.
Sites that commonly require SR1 A1 include:

Why it differs from standard palisade
Standard palisade bolts the pales to the front face of the rails, so they can be removed with the right tools quickly. SR1 A1 systems use a V-slot fixing method: the pales slot through the rails and are secured from inside, which makes unauthorised removal significantly harder. Anti-vibration fixings also resist bolt and nut removal.
What we supply and install
We source and install complete SR1 A1 systems including fencing panels, single and double leaf security gates (heights from 1.8m to 3.0m), in-ground and base-plated posts, and galvanised or powder-coated finishes. Full conformity documentation is provided on completion.
